His mantle is prophetic in purpose, apostolic in function, Pastoral in compassion and evangelistic in outreach.

It was exceptional growth from its ten founding members to nearly 500 weekly worshipers.

Bishop Gilyard holds a Master’s degree in theology however, his wealth of ecclesiastical experience emanates from his many years of service to the church and community. He is also a member of the John C. Maxwell leadership training program.
It is Bishop Gilyard’s prayer that the preaching uttered from his lips be both an out-reach as well as an inner heartfelt message of hope to all that hear the Word—and that the spoken Word be filled with compassion, revelation and a true deliverance experience that changes the lives of the masses.
